Club K After School Zone is a high quality licensed Before and After School Program which needs professional, energetic and dedicated Teachers and Teacher’s Aides to facilitate a variety of program activities and provide a positive after school experience for K-5th students. Qualifications
- Enrollment in Central Background Registry before start date
- CPR/First Aid certified within 30 days of hire
- Food Handler’s certification within 14 days of hire
- K-5th grade teaching, camp or volunteer experience

- Flexibility and willingness to work alongside lead teachers and assistant teachers

Job-Type and Salary
- Part-time at $13.25-$14.60 per hour, dependent on experience and education

Teacher Responsibilities
- Relates to all students in a friendly, positive and encouraging manner
- Follows Oregon Office of Child Care regulations and all Club K policies including but not limited to, group size, staff to student ratios, curriculum activities, caregiver-student interaction, health and safety, physical environment, nutrition/meals, safety and security procedures
- Maintains records and reports on each student including attendance, health and safety
- Effectively implements strategies and communication methods with staff to meet the needs of all students
- Communicates effectively to ensure that students know what is expected of them; including the program rules, school rules, behavior expectations and daily routine
- Promotes good habits in eating, playing, resting, self help, hygiene and health care
- Assists in teaching students to become responsible for their decisions and actions
- Guides student behavior in a positive way that teaches self respect along with respect for others and the community around them
- Communicates directly with each student at the student's level
- Engages and communicates constructively with individual students during activities and routines
